NICOLE DETLING, PHD, CMPC

Dr. Nicole Detling, CMPC has been working with coaches, athletes, businesses, and performers since 1998. A highly sought-after keynote speaker, she has been to 2 Olympic and 1 Paralympic Games as part of Team USA. She has worked with professional athletes in every major sport and several minor sports. KRISTINA STRUTHWOLF, MS

Kristina joined HeadStrong Consulting with an extensive background in sport psychology consulting, coaching, world-level athletic training and international athletic competition.

Kristina received her MS in Psychosocial Aspects of Sports in 2013, graduating with honors from the University of Utah.  She also completed her BS in Exercise & Sport Science and Minor in Nutrition at the University of Utah.

NICK GALLI, PHD, CMPC

Dr. Nick Galli has worked in the field of sport and performance psychology as a professor, researcher, and mental training coach since 2004. A certified consultant by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), he also holds a Ph.D. in the Psychosocial Aspects of Sport from the University of Utah, an M.S. in Sport Studies from Miami (OH) University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Sacramento State University.

amanda johanson, MS, AESSP

Amanda was on a full athletic scholarship to the University of Denver for gymnastics. She graduated with a B.A. in graphic design. She then became involved in aerials ski jumping and competed at a world cup level. Amanda was then recruited to coach development athletes in New Zealand in 2014; and helped train gymnasts preparing for Commonwealth games, pacific rim, world championships and the Rio Olympics. She completed her M.A. in Psychology with distinction from the University of Canterbury, in Christchurch, New Zealand.

josh fischer, Ma

Josh is a recent graduate of the Sport and Exercise Psychology Master’s program at Minnesota State University, Mankato where he was involved in a heavily applied experience with coaches, individuals, and teams. He has experience working with high level Division 2 athletes individually along with collegiate football, track, soccer, swimming, and tennis teams. He has also consulted with several high school level teams.

 

Stephanie Jones-Morin, MS

Stephanie joined HeadStrong Consulting with an extensive athletic, coaching, and sport psychology consulting background. She graduated with honors with her MS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of Utah. She currently works as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Westminster College, and has worked with many collegiate athletes at Westminster and other institutions, as well as broad work with youth up to professional teams, coaches, and individual athletes in training physical, technical, and mental performance.

hillary israelsen, MS

Hillary Israelsen, MS received her BS in Exercise and Sport Science and her MS in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of Utah. She has been working with athletes, coaches, and performers since 2009. She has given presentations to teams, coaches clinics, and individual mental skills training sessions. She is a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and continues to learn and grow to give her athletes and performers the best.

Becky has been coaching since 2000 and has developed athletes ranging in age from 3 to 18+. She holds multiple national championships both as an athlete and a coach, has mentored numerous coaches, owned and operated a competitive youth sport facility from 2005-2020, and is currently the Program Director at Revolution Athletics in Salt Lake City. Becky believes that as coaches we have the responsibility of teaching life through sport and is in the process of writing her first book on this topic.

LUCAS CAVAZOTTI, MA

Lucas holds a M.A. in Sport and Performance Psychology and a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Utah. With a robust background in leading team training and individual consulting, he brings a comprehensive approach to sports performance. Currently, Lucas serves as the assistant facility manager at Shoot360, where he specializes in basketball skills training and coaching, collaborating with the Utah Jazz Youth Camps and Clinics. His expertise spans mental and physical aspects of athletic performance across various sports and levels. Additionally, Lucas is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, enhancing his ability to connect with a diverse range of athletes.
